Qatar reaffirms support for OPCW efforts to eliminate chemical weapons
The Hague, July 8 (Hibya) - The State of Qatar reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in its efforts to strengthen the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) and enhance global peace and security.

The statement was delivered by Dr. Mutlaq bin Majid Al Qahtani, Qatar's Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Permanent Representative to the OPCW.
Addressing the 112th session of the OPCW Executive Council at the organization's headquarters in The Hague, Al Qahtani emphasized that Qatar will continue contributing to these efforts aimed at promoting international security.
