The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its satisfaction with the UK's decision to suspend arms export licenses to Israel, including equipment used in the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.

The ministry emphasized that this is seen as an important step in protecting Palestinian civilians, especially women and children. This suspension aligns with the resolutions of the Security Council, the UN General Assembly, and the International Court of Justice, calling for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, ensuring full protection for civilians and civilian objects, and guaranteeing unhindered humanitarian aid access to Gaza.

The ministry also noted that this suspension will support ongoing efforts to end the war in the Gaza Strip.
