Qatar's Ambassador to Japan: Bilateral relations are a model of cooperation, friendship, and mutual interests
Tokyo, July 8 (Hibya)—Qatar's Ambassador to Japan, Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri, emphasized that the relations between the two countries represent a model of cooperation, friendship, and mutual interests, noting that Qatar's leadership, government, and people attach special importance to the existing partnership with Japan.
The Ambassador stated that the agreement signed last year to elevate the relations between the two countries from cooperation to a comprehensive strategic partnership had strengthened cooperation in economic, cultural, artistic, scientific, defence, security, and academic exchanges.
Deputy Director-General of the Middle East and Africa Affairs Bureau at the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Misako Takahashi, highlighted the long history of friendship between the two countries, which spans over half a century.
President of the Japan-Qatar Friendship Association and President of Chubu Electric Power Company, Satoru Katsuno, emphasized the association's role in promoting economic and cultural exchanges and developing mutual understanding between the two countries.
