Rodriguez: Venezuela did not bow to the US
Caracas, January 9 (Hibya) – Venezuela’s Acting Vice President Delcy Rodriguez said that despite the attack carried out by the United States (US), her country preserved its independence.
According to CCTV, Acting Vice President Delcy Rodriguez stated that following the US attack, despite the capture of President Nicolas Maduro, her country “did not bow” to the United States.
Rodriguez emphasized that despite the military operation, Venezuela continues to remain autonomous and independent, and that no passivity was shown during the attacks.
Speaking at a ceremony held at the National Guard Military Academy in Caracas for soldiers and civilians who were killed or wounded during the US invasion on January 3, Rodriguez said that no one surrendered and that the struggle continued for their homeland and its liberators.
