Russell: Over 190 UN staff killed in Gaza
New York, May 15 (Hibya) - Executive Director of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Catherine Russell, reminded that over 190 UN staff have been killed in Gaza.
UNICEF Executive Director Russell noted that the dangers faced by humanitarian workers in Gaza are reminded every day and added:
"Yesterday near Rafah, a UN staff member was killed and another was injured. Over 190 UN staff have been killed in Gaza. Humanitarian workers should always be protected along with the people they serve."
