Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov met with Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan
Moscow, January 13 (Hibya) – The Russian Federation’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a phone call with the Republic of Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
The ministers exchanged views on international and regional issues, including the situation surrounding Ukraine. Particular attention was given to the importance of preventing actions that could jeopardize energy security.
Lavrov and Fidan also discussed further steps to support the Syrian resolution, including organizing an inclusive national dialogue involving all political, ethnic, and religious forces in Syria, as well as all "external actors" that could contribute to reaching appropriate agreements.
