Russian President Putin held a phone call with Indian Prime Minister Modi
Moscow, May 5 (Hibya) – Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
President Putin once again expressed condolences for the Indian citizens who lost their lives in the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, South Kashmir. Both sides emphasized the need for an uncompromising fight against all forms of terrorism.
During the conversation, it was emphasized that Russia-India relations are of a special privileged strategic partnership, and they continue to develop dynamically in all directions without being influenced by external factors.
Modi congratulated Putin and the Russian people on the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It was noted that Victory Day is a shared holiday, and an Indian representative will attend the ceremony in Moscow.
The Indian leader reiterated his invitation for Putin to visit India for the traditional annual bilateral summit. The invitation was gladly accepted.
