Rutte: We must support Ukraine intensively as long as necessary
Amsterdam, May 29 (Hibya) - Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte discussed supporting Ukraine in defending itself with Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala.
Prime Minister Rutte stated that Ukraine still needs support to defend itself against Russia's ongoing aggression, saying, "Military resources are being rapidly sent to the front through the Czech initiative, and thousands of artillery shells are being delivered."
Rutte discussed with Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala and international partners how this arms supply initiative is progressing and how efforts can be accelerated, stating, "Continuing deliveries are crucial for us as partners to turn our words into tangible results. This includes strengthening Ukraine's air defence as well."
Rutte emphasized that the Netherlands attempts to provide Ukraine with at least one full Patriot system as soon as possible, stating, "We must support Ukraine intensively as long as necessary and as long as it is necessary."
