Sanchez emphasized that the government will use all means to combat drought, going beyond its jurisdiction, and said, "Ensuring access to water is the most urgent task, both in Catalonia and Andalusia."
He also stressed that eliminating the causes of drought is the most important aspect and stated, "Contrary to denialist speeches, working on energy efficiency and water usage is an inevitable necessity."
