Sanchez: Spain deserves a prime minister who will govern
Madrid, June 11 (Hibya) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, in a statement directed at opposition leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo, said the country needs a working prime minister.
Sanchez criticized Feijóo for spending four years “resentful” because he wasn’t in office. “Spain deserves a prime minister who will govern, not someone who sulks for four years because he couldn’t become prime minister,” Sanchez said.
Referring to his own government's performance, Sanchez stated that the achievements of the progressive administration are the strongest argument for extending the mandate by two more years, and possibly longer if the people wish.
