Scholz: I support wages that respect human dignity
Berlin, May 1 (Hibya) – German Chancellor Olaf Scholz issued a message on the occasion of Labor Day, May 1.
Chancellor Scholz noted that too many people still have to work very hard for very little pay.
He emphasized his support for wages that uphold human dignity, saying: “And I support strong unions. They are important for the social cohesion of our country. That’s the meaning of May 1st!”
