Schoof: US companies have become the largest investors in the Netherlands
Brussels, May 22 (Hibya) – Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof stated that for decades, American companies have been the largest investors in the Netherlands.
He noted that in return, the Netherlands offers American companies a highly skilled workforce, top-level infrastructure, a stable financial environment, and excellent access to European markets.
Schoof emphasized that such partnerships are based on mutual trust, and that in times when such close cooperation is not easily taken for granted, reaching out to one another becomes even more important. “I discussed these matters at the annual luncheon of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands.”
