Schoof: We must protect our freedom and pass it on to future generations
Amsterdam, May 5 (Hibya) – Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof stated that freedom must be protected and passed on to future generations.
On Liberation Day, Schoof said they celebrate the freedom they enjoy in the Netherlands: “Freedom that was fought for eighty years ago. Freedom that we consider normal, but which is not the case for many others around the world.”
He emphasized the importance of preserving and passing on this freedom: “Today we celebrate that freedom. I wish everyone a wonderful day and a fantastic celebration.”
