Shaheen met with researchers and experts in Helsinki
Helsinki, June 12 (Hibya) – Palestinian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Farsin Aghabekian Shaheen met with researchers and experts at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs in Helsinki.
According to a statement from the ministry, Minister Shaheen held a meeting with the Director of the Finnish Institute of International Affairs and its staff of researchers and experts in Helsinki.
They exchanged views on the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, prospects for implementing the two-state solution, and the possibility of the Institute putting pressure on the Finnish government to recognize the independent State of Palestine in support of the success of an international conference focused on implementing the two-state solution — seen as the only path to peace, security, and stability in the Middle East.
