Slovak Prime Minister Fico hospitalized after being shot
Istanbul, May 15 (Hibya) - According to reports in the local media, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico was injured after being shot.
According to Slovak sources, Fico was shot in front of the cultural and community center in the town of Handlova, where a government meeting was being held.
Journalists at the scene reported hearing several gunshots. The Slovak leader was taken to the hospital, while the police arrested a person suspected of being the assailant. Handlova is located approximately 180 kilometers northeast of the capital, Bratislava.
