Spain prepares for the 2026 Ibero-American Summit
Madrid, May 21 (Hibya) – Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, stated that the 2026 Ibero-American Summit, to be hosted by Spain, will be an important opportunity to strengthen relations and cooperation with Latin American countries.
As part of the preparations, Albares met with the Ibero-American Secretary-General to discuss the summit.
Albares said, “The 2026 Ibero-American Summit will be a key platform to deepen relations and cooperation with our Latin American brothers. Today we met with the Secretary-General to discuss preparations. We are working together to strengthen Ibero-American cooperation.”
