Spajic: While Montenegro's population remained the same, the number of employed increased by 100,000
Podgorica, May 2 (Hibya) – Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic announced that while the country's population remained nearly unchanged, the number of employed people increased by almost 100,000.
Prime Minister Milojko Spajic stated that the number of employed in Montenegro rose significantly even though the population remained largely stable.
Spajic noted:
"Paradoxically, Monstat's 2009 data showed a lower unemployment rate than today — which clearly highlights how poor the situation was in Monstat and our statistical system at the time. Today, however, the data we use is acceptable to all international institutions."
