Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez spoke with Ukrainian President Zelensky


Madrid, May 8 (Hibya) - Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez spoke with Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky.

Sanchez said he spoke with Zelensky to reiterate Spain's support for Ukraine.

Sanchez highlighted Ukraine's critical situation and the progress in implementing the Security Agreement between the countries.

"We acknowledged the importance of the Peace Conference for Ukraine happening next month in Switzerland, and I will also be there. We continue to work for a fair and lasting peace based on international law," he said.
