Swiss Foreign Minister Cassis met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang
Hong Kong, May 30 (Hibya) – Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis held a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
Foreign Minister Cassis met with Wang Yi in Hong Kong as part of the IOMed program.
Cassis stated that the dialogue initiated in April in Beijing is continuing, addressing the modernization of the Switzerland-China Free Trade Agreement as well as current geopolitical tensions including Ukraine and the Middle East. He said: “We reaffirmed our commitment to multilateralism and international law, which are essential elements for addressing today’s global challenges and preventing further escalation.”
