Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha stated that 9 children were killed in Russia's ballistic missile attack on Kryvyi Rih last week, marking the highest number of Ukrainian children killed in a single attack since 2022.

Sybiha noted that Russia targeted playgrounds in an ordinary residential area: "They used a cluster warhead to maximize casualties. Ukraine called an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council and a special meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council to address Russian crimes."

Sybiha added that both meetings will be held tomorrow, aiding peace efforts and accountability, emphasizing: "A strong international response to Russian brutality is critically important. Such terrorism should never be normalized. We call for strong condemnation and decisive action. Russia must stop its terrorism against Ukrainian children and civilians, respond to the comprehensive ceasefire proposal by the U.S. accepted by Ukraine, and end the war."
