Minister Sybiha stated that Russia has failed to achieve any of the strategic goals of its full-scale invasion and will not succeed.

He emphasized that Ukraine did not start this war and wants it to end more than anyone else. “We are committed to peace. But only Russia is blocking peace efforts, rejecting a ceasefire and a leaders' summit, and doing everything to prolong the war. Pressure on the aggressor must be increased,” he said.

Sybiha added, “Russia’s military and political leadership must be held accountable for this barbaric and illegal aggression. All Russian criminals who committed atrocities in Ukraine must be brought to justice.”
