Speaking at the International Security Architecture Forum in Kyiv, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that security has now become the fundamental element of prosperity, democracy, and economic development.

Stating that the greatest misconception of the era was believing that peace would exist on its own, Sybiha said: “After February 24, 2022, these assumptions collapsed. The world has changed, and Europe has changed too.”

Sybiha stated that the future belongs to actors capable of deterring aggression, adapting faster than their rivals, and transforming innovation into security, adding: “Resilience is power, technology is power, and strategic clarity is power.”

Sybiha said: “A strong Ukraine makes the entire democratic world stronger. This is no longer a matter of belief, but a fact,” emphasizing that Ukraine has become one of the key actors in European and Euro-Atlantic security.
