Sybiha: Ukraine thinks about the future even during wartime
Kyiv, April 15 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that even during wartime they think about their future, adding: "We are defending not only our right to exist, but also a better future for our children and for the entire international community."
Foreign Minister Sybiha expressed gratitude to the UNESCO Executive Board and the 50 member countries for supporting Ukraine's initiative to establish the International Day for Science Participation in Sustainable Development.
Sybiha pointed out that this new international day will be celebrated annually on November 27, the day the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was founded in 1918, and said:
"This day will promote science and encourage young people worldwide to participate in scientific research. In our view, both goals are critical for sustainable development."
Sybiha emphasized that Ukraine thinks about the future even during wartime, saying: "Because we are defending not only our right to exist, but also a better future for our children and for the entire international community."
