Tajani congratulated the new Pope Leo XIV
Rome, May 8 (Hibya) – Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani published a message on the occasion of the election of the new Pope Leo XIV.
Tajani stated that the papacy of Pope Leo XIV began with the words “Peace be with you!”
Expressing gratitude for being given a new Bishop for Rome and a new leader for the Catholic Church, he said: “I will pray for him, the Vicar of Christ and the successor of Peter.”
