Rome, 28 September (Hibya) - Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said that he asked Israeli officials to ensure the safety of all Italian soldiers engaged in peacekeeping in Lebanon.

Tajani added that Israel responded positively to the requests, and said, "I continue to follow developments in the Middle East crisis along with the Presidency of the Council of Ministers."
