Tajani: We must return to negotiations and diplomacy as soon as possible
Rome, June 13 (Hibya) – Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani held a phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyid Abbas Araghchi.
During the call, Tajani emphasized the importance of Iran avoiding military escalation with Israel.
He stressed the need to return to negotiations and diplomacy as soon as possible, saying: “For the Italian Government, it is vital to continue working to ensure peace and stability in the Middle East by immediately halting military operations in Gaza. These operations continue to cause unacceptable harm to the Palestinian civilian population.”
