Ottawa, October 22 (Hibya) – Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that a 25% tariff will be imposed on steel and aluminum imports from China to Canada.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated that China's excess capacity is flooding the international market with cheap steel and aluminum.
Trudeau noted that these unfair trade practices are disadvantaging Canadian workers, and said, "As of today, a 25% tariff will be imposed on steel and aluminum imports from China to Canada."
