United States President Donald Trump made statements at the G7 Summit regarding the Russia–Ukraine war, Middle East developments, and international contacts.

President Trump said he held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, stating: “I think we can do something.”

He also said a “historic night” took place at the White House and that diplomatic contacts are ongoing.

Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, Trump said it would be fully opened on Friday, with free and unrestricted passage, adding: “It may open before Friday.”

He also addressed Lebanon, stressing the need for stability in the region and the end of the process.
