In his post, Trump wrote: “Tomorrow at 1:30 PM EST I will hold a press conference with Elon Musk in the Oval Office. It will be his last day, but actually not, because he will always be with us and help us in everything. Elon is great! See you tomorrow at the White House.”

On Thursday, a senior administration official told ABC News that Musk will continue to serve as an informal advisor to the president and may attend White House meetings.
