Addressing his supporters, Donald Trump said:

"This is a political victory like our country has never seen before. And of course, thank you all for choosing me as your 47th president. I want to tell all citizens that I will fight for you, for your families. Every day, with every breath, I will fight for you. I will present an America filled with the prosperity that our children deserve. This will be America’s golden age.

This victory will make America great again. There was no other way to victory. You will say: 'This was one of the most important moments of my life'.

America has given us an unprecedented, powerful task, and we have regained control of the Senate. It seems we will also maintain control of the House of Representatives.

I want to thank my beautiful wife Melania. She works hard to help people. Now I can call him the elected vice president: J.D. Vance is a true fighter. He goes into enemy territory—I mean certain channels—and shreds journalists who ask tough questions.

We’re going to do truly special things. We need to regain our potential to be the greatest country in the world. We must close the borders and stop entries into our country. I’m not saying they can’t enter, but they must enter legally.

We have a new star: Elon. He’s an amazing person. We held rallies together. I saw the rocket, it was coming at 10,000 miles per hour. I asked, 'What about the paint?' He said, 'There’s no paint that can withstand this speed'. Only Elon could do that.

Trump's Vice President, J.D. Vance, added, "We have achieved the greatest comeback in U.S. political history. Under Trump’s leadership, we will also accomplish the greatest economic recovery in history."
