Türk: Civilian casualties in Ukraine are still rising
New York, March 28 (Hibya) – UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk stated that civilian casualties in Ukraine continue to rise and that the vast majority were killed by Russian forces.
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Türk said that civilian casualties in Ukraine are still increasing, with most having been killed or injured by Russian forces.
He emphasized that peace in Ukraine, in accordance with international law, is more urgent than ever: "Peace must be based on human rights," he said.
