Turk: We can rebuild a space for dialogue, tolerance, and respect
New York, March 27 (Hibya) - United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Turk, emphasized that a space for dialogue, tolerance, and respect could be rebuilt by embracing racial, gender, and religious differences.
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Turk, said that by embracing differences, today's cycles of hatred and violence can be stopped.
In his statement, Turk said, "I want to believe that diversity is the richness of our humanity. By embracing our differences, we can stop today's cycles of hatred and violence. Regardless of race, gender, or faith, we can rebuild a space for dialogue, tolerance, and mutual respect."
