TurkStat - Total turnover in sectors increased by 66.8 percent yoy in May
Istanbul, July 11 (Hibya) - Total turnover in the industrial, construction, trade and services sectors increased by 0.8 percent month-on-month and 66.8 percent year-on-year in May.
According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), the total turnover index in industry, construction, trade and services sectors increased by 66.8 percent year-on-year in May.
In May, annual turnovers increased by 60.4 percent in the industrial sector, 87.4 percent in the construction sector, 65.1 percent in the trade sector and 80.6 percent in the service sector.
Total turnover index (2021=100), including industry, construction, trade, and services sectors, increased by 0.8 percent on a monthly basis in May 2024.
At the detail of the total turnover index, the industry increased by 1.5 percent, construction increased by 5.7 percent, trade decreased by 0.7 percent, and services increased by 3.4 percent on a monthly basis in May 2024.
