Two US airlines suspend flights to Tel Aviv
Washington, August 1 (Hibya) - United Airlines, which suspended flights in October following Hamas attacks on Israel and only resumed flights in June, has announced that it is once again suspending flights for security reasons, CBS News reported.
United Airlines said, “Starting with tonight's flight from Newark Liberty to Tel Aviv, we suspend our daily Tel Aviv service for security reasons while we evaluate our next steps. We continue to monitor the situation closely and will make decisions about resuming service, focusing on the safety of our customers and crew.
Meanwhile, Delta Airlines announced that it had suspended its flights until August 2 “due to the ongoing conflict in the region”.
