Two US airlines suspend Tel Aviv flights
Washington, August 1 (Hibya) - According to CBS News, after Hamas's attack on Israel, United Airlines, which suspended flights in October and only resumed them in June, announced that it had once again suspended flights for security reasons.
In a statement, United Airlines said: "Starting with tonight's flight from Newark Liberty to Tel Aviv, we are suspending our daily service to Tel Aviv for security reasons while we evaluate our next steps. We continue to closely monitor the situation and will make decisions about continuing service with a focus on the safety of our customers and crew."
Meanwhile, Delta Airlines also announced that it is suspending flights until August 2 "due to the ongoing conflicts in the region."
