Foreign Minister Sybiha expressed his pleasure at meeting with his Czech counterpart Jan Lipavsky in Prague to discuss the implementation of the outcomes of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to the Czech Republic.

He added that they also discussed securing a just peace, increasing pressure on Russia, sanctions, and the continuation of military aid to Ukraine:

“I thanked the Czech Republic for its important and effective artillery ammunition initiative. I am grateful to all participating partners. The initiative is expected to be expanded to provide 1.8 million shells to Ukraine this year.”

Sybiha added: “We are confident that with allies like the Czech Republic, we have the support needed to strengthen Ukraine and bring a just and lasting peace closer.”
