Ukrainian President Zelensky: Russia is the source of this war
Kyiv, April 21 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia is the source of the war, saying: “The ceasefire order for the Russian army must come from Moscow.”
President Zelensky noted that after Easter, the entire world will be able to clearly see the real issue, saying: “Russia is the source of this war. The ceasefire order for the Russian army must come from Moscow. And if there is no such clear Russian order – then there is no ceasefire.”
He pointed out that there were no airstrikes on Easter and that parts of the frontline remained quiet, stating:
“This proves it is possible. When Russia chooses to reduce killing – it is possible. Still, Ukraine stands by its proposal. We await a clear response from Moscow. We are ready for any kind of negotiation to make this happen.”
