Ukrainian President Zelensky travelled to Ramstein Air Base to attend the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting.

Zelensky emphasized the importance of the resolve of Ukraine’s partners and the need for tools to stop Russia’s air attacks, saying, "It is vital that all weapons in the already announced support packages finally reach the combat brigades. Additionally, we need strong long-term decisions from our partners to further bring closer the just peace we are striving for."

Zelensky stated that during the group’s meeting, he would hold separate talks with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. "Then, I will travel to Italy for the Ambrosetti International Economic Forum to meet with Italian business representatives and hold talks with Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. We are coordinating our positions with all our G7 allies," Zelensky said.
