Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky went to the United Kingdom to attend the European Political Community Summit, which brings together countries from the European region to discuss common issues and challenges.

Zelensky will hold meetings with King Charles III, Prime Minister Keir Starmer, government officials, and defence company executives, stating:

"We will sign an intergovernmental agreement to support Ukraine's defence and industrial complex, discuss future defence cooperation, and expand our defence capabilities. From the early days of the large-scale invasion, the United Kingdom has been a step ahead in its determination to support Ukraine. This is the determination we need to stop Russian terrorism."
