UNRWA: Around 3,000 aid trucks ready to enter Gaza
New York, April 26 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that around 3,000 life-saving aid trucks are ready to enter Gaza.
In a statement from UNRWA, it was noted that hunger in Gaza is deepening, with many people, including children, hoping to find some food during the distribution of hot meals by charities.
The statement reported that the World Food Programme announced yesterday that it had completely depleted its food stocks in Gaza:
“UNRWA’s flour supplies ran out earlier this week. Meanwhile, around 3,000 UNRWA life-saving aid trucks are ready to enter Gaza. The siege must end.”
