UNRWA: Humanitarian crisis in Gaza at worst level since October 2023
New York, April 21 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) reported that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza has reached its worst level since October 2023.
In a statement, UNRWA said that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is at its worst level since October 2023.
The statement noted that it has been 50 days since Israeli authorities blocked the entry of all materials into Gaza, adding:
“Food, water, medical care, and shelter have become increasingly scarce. Supplies are piling up at crossing points. Around half a million people have been newly displaced in the past month.”
