UNRWA: More than 1.2 million people in Gaza received food aid
New York, February 5 (Hibya) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that its teams have provided food aid to more than 1.2 million people, with more assistance on the way.
In a statement from UNRWA, it was noted that since the start of the ceasefire, its teams have provided food aid to over 1.2 million people, with additional aid expected.
Furthermore, 10 shelters have been reopened to accommodate returning displaced families. "With the repaired water well in Jabalia, around 100,000 people have access to safe water. UNRWA is the only entity with the capacity and infrastructure to deliver aid at this scale throughout the Gaza Strip."
