UNRWA: Since Monday, an estimated 150,000 people have fled Rafah
New York, May 12 (Hibya) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported that since Monday, an estimated 150,000 people have fled Rafah.
In a statement, UNRWA indicated that in other areas of the Gaza Strip, including the centre of Rafah in the south and Jabalia in the north of Gaza, new evacuation orders had been issued, affecting at least 300,000 people.
The statement noted that an estimated 150,000 people have fled Rafah and begun searching for safety in insecure locations since Monday.
