UNRWA: The war in Gaza will set children's education back by 5 years
New York, 27 September (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported that the war in Gaza will set back the education of children and young people by up to 5 years.
The statement from UNRWA said, "A new report shows that the war in Gaza will set back the education of children and young people by up to 5 years. According to the Norwegian Refugee Council, with the current amount of allowed aid, it will take more than 2 years to deliver the kits needed to prepare southern Wadi Gaza for the winter."
According to UNRWA, as of 19 September, there have been 492 attacks on health facilities in Gaza, resulting in 747 deaths.
