UNRWA: War has shattered homes and infrastructure in Gaza
New York, May 22 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) reported that the war, ongoing for over 19 months, has shattered homes and infrastructure in Gaza.
According to UNRWA, the agency’s Health Center in Gaza, which provided care to thousands of people, was severely damaged by the bombardment and is no longer operational.
“The war lasting more than 19 months has shattered homes and infrastructure in Gaza. Even UN buildings were not spared; the vast majority of UNRWA facilities were affected. Nowhere is safe in Gaza,” the statement said.
