UNRWA: We need a 90% vaccination coverage to prevent the spread of polio
New York, September 4 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported that at least 90 percent vaccination coverage is needed to prevent the spread of polio.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees stated that at least 90% vaccination coverage is required to halt the outbreak and prevent the spread of polio in the Gaza Strip.
UNRWA added, "Today, UNRWA teams will continue vaccinating as many children as possible in the Central Area. Our efforts will continue over the coming days across Gaza."
