US Conducted Over 20 Strikes in Yemen
Stockholm, April 8 (Hibya) – As part of its continued support for Israel, a series of US airstrikes targeted the Yemeni capital Sana'a, as well as the cities of Hudaydah and Ma’rib. The US-led coalition launched several airstrikes at dawn on Tuesday targeting Sana'a, Hudaydah, and Ma’rib.
According to Al-Mayadeen TV, five airstrikes targeted Jabal Al-Jumaimah in the Bani Hushaysh area east of the capital, and six more strikes targeted the Jarban area in the Sanhan district south of Sana'a.
In addition to nine strikes on the Majzar, Sirwah, and Al Juba districts of Ma’rib, the US also targeted Kamaran Island, located west of Hudaydah Governorate on the Red Sea coast.
Yemen’s Health Ministry spokesperson, Anis al-Asbahi, announced on Sunday that 29 people were killed in a strike on a house in the Shaab al-Hafa area northeast of Sana'a.
Meanwhile, Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree said on Monday that the Yemeni Air Force conducted a military operation targeting an Israeli military site in the occupied Yafa area.
Saree also stated that the Yemeni Navy and Air Force conducted a joint military operation targeting two American destroyers using a number of cruise missiles and drones.
