US: No intelligence shared with Kyiv regarding attacks on Russian air bases
Washington, June 2 (Hibya) – CBS News White House correspondent Jennifer Jacobs, citing sources within the US administration, stated on social media that the United States did not provide Kyiv with any data and that Ukraine used its own intelligence.
The CBS reporter wrote: “The US did not share information with Zelensky and the team involved in the operation. Sources in the administration told me this. Ukraine collected its own data.”
It was previously reported that Kyiv did not inform Washington of its intention to attack military airfields on Russian territory.
The TV channel reported: “US administration sources told CBS News on Sunday that the White House was unaware that this had been planned.”
However, White House representatives refused to comment on the attacks.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Ukraine attacked military airfields in five Russian regions using FPV drones, and several aircraft units caught fire in the Murmansk and Irkutsk regions.
