Moscow, March 16 (Hibya) - Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said there is no definite information yet on possible contacts between Putin and Trump.
Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov emphasized that there is no definite information yet on possible contacts between Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. If needed, they will be arranged, but for now, Moscow and Washington are interacting at other levels.
Speaking on the "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin" program on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, Ushakov stated, "We are preparing for the meeting, and it will be organized as soon as necessary. For now, contacts continue at other levels."
The program's host, Pavel Zarubin, published a portion of the interview on his Telegram channel.
Ushakov added: "This meeting and phone conversation can be arranged quite quickly, but for now, I cannot say anything specific."
Last Friday, Ushakov told reporters that dialogue between Russia and the current US administration has resumed and is being conducted regularly through various channels.
