Uzbek Foreign Minister Saidov meets UK Foreign Secretary Lammy
Samarkand, May 19 (Hibya) – Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bahtiyor Saidov met with UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy in London.
During the meeting, a comprehensive and ambitious agenda for 2025 was established, reflecting the ongoing strengthening of relations between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom.
The talks covered trade and investment, cultural ties, and global challenges. New avenues for deepening bilateral cooperation were explored. Minister Saidov reaffirmed the mutual commitment to shared prosperity and stability.
Additionally, the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom signed a Cooperation Program for the 2025–2026 period.
